![]() ![]() ![]() The XVIII World Water Congress on "Water for All: Harmony between Humans and Nature”, will take place in Beijing, China, from 11 to 15 September 2023. The International Water Resources Association (IWRA), and the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China (MWR) are delighted to share that given the global effect of the COVID-19 pandemic and requests for submission extension, the deadline of submission for abstracts, special sessions and side events has been extended to 28th February 2023. From 8th January, 2023, China no longer conducts nucleic acid testing and quarantine for inbound travelers. We welcome a wide range of international, regional and governmental water organizations and institutions, representatives of the academic, leading experts, professionals, young scholars and students majored in water-related subjects to join the XVIII Congress. Early registration by 7th April 2023 will be granted a special discount. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented an unprecedented challenge on how humans interact with water and address its management and protection. It is crucial that we discuss and design innovative ideas, methods, technologies and practices regarding the new and old problems in the field of water resources. Therefore, we invite submissions from experts, academics, policymakers, water professionals, private sector practitioners, and civil society stakeholders, from all disciplines and perspectives. Call for Abstracts The International Scientific Committee (ISC) welcomes papers for oral presentations and poster presentations at the XVIII World Water Congress, which will be presented during the main congress programme. Experts, academics, policymakers, water professionals, private sector practitioners, and civil society stakeholders, from all disciplines and perspectives who wish to share their work and experiences during the Congress, are invited to submit abstracts. Abstracts can only be submitted online through the official Congress website. Apply for Exhibition Travel Advice From January 8, 2023, China no longer conducts nucleic acid tests and quarantine for all inbound travelers.
